Shipping & Delivery

📦 Shipping & Fulfillment

We’re proud to ship worldwide via Canada Post and UPS. As many of our products are lovingly handcrafted in small batches, timing may vary depending on the specific items and quantities in your order. If additional time is needed, we’ll let you know before you finalize anything.

Have a specific delivery date in mind? Let us know when placing your order and we’ll do our very best to make it happen.

Estimated Shipping Costs

Shipping rates are calculated based on the size and weight of your order, and vary by destination. Here’s a general idea:

  • Canada: $20–$50 CAD

  • USA: $20–$50 USD

  • International: $100–$300 CAD, depending on location and order size

Once your order is ready, we’ll send you an invoice with the exact shipping costs and a payment link. As soon as payment is received, your parcel will be on its way with tracking included.

Estimated Delivery Times

  • Canada & USA: 3–10 business days

  • International: 5–14 business days, depending on location

  • In a rush? We offer UPS 3-Day Guaranteed shipping to the US. Just leave us a note at checkout, and we’ll do everything we can to prioritize your order.

Duties & Tariffs

Please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other local fees upon delivery. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in your invoice from us. We recommend checking with your country’s customs office for more information on potential charges. If you have questions, please reach out to us wholesale@threadandmaple.com.

For Our US Customers

We are temporarily pausing our shipments to the US but are working to make sure that we can continue to keep your shop stocked through the fall season. Here are some important updates and dates to keep in mind, but we will continue to keep you updated along the way!

  • Aug 26–Sep 1: We’ll pause U.S. shipping for a week to prevent delays or surprise fees.

  • From Sep 2: All U.S. orders will ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). We’ll prepay and absorb duties and brokerage fees so you won’t see unexpected costs at delivery. U.S. prices will rise to offset a portion of these expenses. This DDP solution isn’t sustainable long-term, but we can’t stop selling to the U.S.—our Ukrainian artisan team depends on steady orders to stay employed.

  • By early October: We’ll begin shipping U.S. orders from our new New York 3rd party warehouse, so that our U.S. customers can continue shopping with us duty-free. This will mean that we will continue covering duties to import our goods into the U.S., but pay much lower brokerage fees for bulk shipments. Note that we will also need to collect state tax for all New York orders at checkout.
