Ordering & Payment Information

At Thread & Maple, we aim to make the wholesale process as smooth and flexible as possible. Below, you’ll find all the essential details about payment, order minimums, pricing, and tax info.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment options:

• Credit Card

• PayPal

• Wire transfer in one of the following currencies: CAD / USD / EUR / GBP / AUD

For orders over CAD $3,000, we kindly request payment by wire transfer instead of credit card or PayPal to help reduce processing fees. If you incur any transfer fees on your end, we’ll gladly credit them to your account.

Wholesale Pricing

Our wholesale pricing ranges from 30–50% off retail, depending on the item. 

Prices will display in your local currency (CAD, USD, EUR, GBP, or AUD) based on the location you shared with us when you submitted your wholesale inquiry. Your invoice will be issued in the same currency, so you can pay without worrying about conversion or exchange fees.

Payment Terms

When you place an order through our wholesale site, you will not be charged at checkout. Instead, your order will be submitted as a draft.

We’ll review it, confirm item availability, and pack your order. Shipping costs will be added to your final invoice.

Once everything is ready to go, you’ll receive an email with:

• A PDF invoice

• Payment links for credit card or PayPal

• Instructions for sending a wire transfer to our Wise account (in your local currency)

We kindly ask that payment be completed within 7 days to avoid delays. Due to high demand, we can only hold items for 30 days after invoicing. If payment is not received within that timeframe, your order will be cancelled and the items returned to stock. Thank you for understanding!

Taxes & Duties

As a Canadian company, we are required to collect sales tax on Canadian orders, according to your province:

• 5% GST in AB, BC, MB, NT, NU, QC, SK, YT

• 13% HST in ON

• 15% HST in NB, NL, NS, PE

No tax is collected on orders shipping outside of Canada.

International customers, please note:

• You may be charged customs duties, VAT, or import fees upon delivery.

• These are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in your Thread & Maple invoice.

• We recommend checking with your local customs office for more details.

EU & UK Shops:
Expect to be charged approximately 20% VAT on your order total by local customs. To help ensure smooth delivery, please include your VAT or EORI number in the order notes—this allows us to include it on your shipping label for easier clearance.
